Haeju City of South Hwanghae Province inaugurated a solar power plant with the capacity of 10,000 kilowatts.
The capital city of Pyongyang built solar power plants in three districts last year, and the work to increase the production of electricity by making effective use of solar energy is brisk in all districts and counties this year, too.
South Hamgyong Province built Soho and Tonghung solar power plants and a grid parallel solar power plant on the bank of the River Songchon.
