Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) — The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un made his historic speech “Become Pillars Supporting a Prosperous Future Korea” at a joint national meeting of the Korean Children’s Union organizations held on June 6, 2012 to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the KCU.
Afterwards, he authored such lots of works for the development of the Juche-oriented children’s movement as “Great Efforts Should Be Directed to Education for Training Schoolchildren as Successors to the Revolution” and “Let KCU Members Become True Sons and Daughters, Young Revolutionaries, of the Socialist Country”.
The works, which clarified the orientation and ways for bringing about a fresh turn in the children’s movement in the country in the new era of the Juche revolution, served as valuable mental nutrient and genuine textbooks and precious guidelines for the growth and life of the KCU members.
Over the past ten-odd years, the KCU members have more firmly prepared themselves to be able revolutionary talents with ample knowledge, high morality and strong body and reliable pillars shouldering the future of prosperous Korea.
Many KCU members across the country proved successful at the quiz shows and academic contests in the course of acquiring diverse knowledge to become world-famous scientists and inventors on campuses, won Our Classroom Literary Prize and become model readers.
Many little patriots have briskly conducted a do-good-thing movement for the country’s economy and other activities for encouraging their parents in the strenuous efforts for national prosperity.
A large number of schoolchildren have won Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize and Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize amid the growing number of model KCU members.
This year alone, 106 children were awarded Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize and 105 children Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize.
The KCU members are growing up to be ardent young revolutionaries and patriots under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who regards the work for the younger generation as the most important affair of the Party and the state.
