Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK decided to take preemptive attack as the mode of its military counteraction so as to be able to deal merciless annihilating blows at the enemies under the grave situation where they are working with bloodshot eyes to encroach upon the DPRK's dignity, sovereignty and vital rights.
Rodong Sinmun says this in an article Friday.
It goes on:
It is quite natural exercise of the right to self-defence for the DPRK to counter the enemies with merciless toughest measure as they are going to bring down "its social system".
The recent joint military drills are the largest-ever saber-rattling for a nuclear war against the DPRK the U.S. and its followers are staging in the most undisguised and vicious manner after shaking off the hackneyed mask of "annual" and "defensive" ones.
The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are openly asserting that the joint military drills are aimed to confirm the possibility of applying to an actual war the "beheading operation" targeting the headquarters of the Korean revolution, surprise landing operation for occupying strategic vantage points and the operation for mounting a preemptive attack on nuclear striking means of the DPRK.
To protest after being hit by U.S. preemptive attack will be of no use.
Very suggestive is the plight of those countries in various parts of the world that failed to counter the U.S. war moves.
Preemptive attack is the only way of disabling the U.S. sudden surprise attack on the DPRK.
The right to nuclear preemptive attack is by no means the U.S. monopoly.
The reply of the DPRK is to counter the preemptive attack with advanced preemptive attack.
