Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK decided to take preemptive attack as the mode of its military counteraction so as to be able to deal merciless annihilating blows at the enemies under the grave situation where they are working with bloodshot eyes to encroach upon the DPRK's dignity, sovereignty and vital rights.
Rodong Sinmun says this in an article Friday.

It is quite natural exercise of the right to self-defence for the DPRK to counter the enemies with merciless toughest measure as they are going to bring down "its social system".
The recent joint military drills are the largest-ever saber-rattling for a nuclear war against the DPRK the U.S. and its followers are staging in the most undisguised and vicious manner after shaking off the hackneyed mask of "annual" and "defensive" ones.
