Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Beers produced by different factories in the DPRK are enjoying great popularity at home and abroad.
The most popular one is the Taedonggang beer which is highly topical among world press media.
The Voice of America (VOA) said that the Taedonggang beer is appreciated as the best among those produced in Northeast Asia and even some Western media highly appraised its flavor.
The British "Economist" and Reuters reported that the Taedonggang beer is excellent in its flavor.
The south Korean "Yonhap News" stressed that the reputation of the Taedonggang beer is attributable to the scientific and perfect quality control ranging from procurement of raw materials to finishing.
ITAR-TASS, the Chinese Huan Qiu Shibao, the China News Service and other media reported that the Taedonggang beer is getting popular for its high quality, it is as excellent as world famous beers and even foreign tourists eulogize it as "very fine and excellent beer" and "the best beer in the East".
An American beer fan, when visiting Pyongyang, said that even the best-selling beer in different countries of Asia is far behind the Taedonggang beer and he is itching to keep drinking the Taedonggang beer.
Now, the Pyongyang Taedonggang Beer Fest is going on in the DPRK, which would be a significant occasion in providing the people with a happy life.
