Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills were the largest-ever provocative preliminary war and test nuclear war in its scale and nature, contents and form, says Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article.
Noting the war rehearsals clearly proved that the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK is getting vicious and the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are wholly to blame for the increasing tensions and danger of nuclear war on the Korean peninsula, the article goes on:
Key Resolve and Foal Eagle showed that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet military maniacs are resorting to gambling as their last-ditch efforts after being plunged into a real fix due to the complete flop of its hostile policy toward the DPRK and moves of confrontation with the compatriots in the north.
Though the war drumbeats allegedly came to an end, the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces persist in their reckless moves as they seek to provoke a nuclear war against the DPRK.
The U.S. imperialist warmongers are stupidly overconfident of their might and the south Korean puppet forces are running amuck, blindly following the U.S. scheme for a DPRK-targeted nuclear war. Their reckless moves only harden the faith and will of the invincible revolutionary Paektusan army to mercilessly smash the provocation of the aggressors by dint of the nuclear deterrent of justice.
If the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces fire even a single bullet at the territory of the DPRK, the revolutionary forces will totally wipe out the bases of aggression and provocation and thus certainly realize the historic cause of national reunification.
