Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) – The successful launching drill of intermediate strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-12 held under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was a powerful sledge-hammer for mercilessly smashing the tyrannical nukes, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article.
Songun Korea's steady offensive is a stern warning to the foolish U.S. policy-makers dreaming of bringing down the DPRK, the article says, and goes on:
As was proven by the successful launching drill of Hwasong-12, Guam, ill-famed U.S. imperialist aggression forces' military base, is within the striking range of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK.
The U.S. is at a loss, being frightened by the high spirit of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK fully ready to impose horrible and bitter defeat on the U.S.
The DPRK has been possessed of powerful ballistic rockets and H-bomb capable of frustrating the U.S. ambition for aggression. This has fundamentally changed the world political and strategic landscape and provided a firm guarantee for defending peace and security in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia.
The brigandish U.S. imperialists are making most vicious provocations against the DPRK in political, military, economic and all other fields. To cope with this, the DPRK will stoutly build up the strength of justice to root out the source of aggression and war and to settle accounts with the enemies.
As it is led by the peerlessly great man possessed of spirit, pluck and invincible strategy of Mt Paektu as his inborn dispositions, the DPRK will surely emerge victorious in the showdown with the U.S.
