Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The Second National Conference of Primary Information Workers of the Party took place here on Wednesday and Thursday.
The conference analyzed and reviewed successes, experience, mistakes and lessons from information and motivation work after the First National Conference of Primary Information Workers of the Party and discussed tasks and ways for the primary information workers of the Party to further display the vitality of the Juche-oriented mass political work method at outposts of the ideological front for the building of a powerful socialist nation.

Attending the conference were officials of the Information and Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea including Kim Ki Nam, advisor of the C.C., WPK, and Ri Yong Sik, first vice department director of the C.C., WPK, and exemplary instructors of study groups, lecturers, agitators and propagandists each in charge of five families from across the country, instructors of the class education field and members of artistic motivational teams and itinerant art squads in Pyongyang and other parts of the country, officials of the party committees at all levels, who organize and guide the work of the primary information workers of the Party, and officials of relevant field.

Kim Ki Nam read out the letter "Let Us Double the Motive Force of Our Revolution through Fresh Information and Motivation Work" sent by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to the participants in the Second National Conference of Primary Information Workers of the Party.

Ri Yong Sik made a report.

The reporter said that the primary information workers of the Party are standard-bearers and foremost workers active on the ideological front, who implant the Party's ideology into the mind of the masses and encourage them to implement the Party's policies, always finding themselves among them and in the van of their struggle.

He noted that the work of educating and motivating the masses through the activities of the primary information workers is the proud tradition of the ideological work of the Party, which President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il created and creditably applied, and is the unique method of the mass political work peculiar to the Workers' Party of Korea.

He recalled that the primary information workers of the Party acted as standard bearers and political activists in the course of the struggle for building a powerful socialist nation under the leadership of the Party, making an enormous contribution to the victorious advance of the revolution.

He called upon the primary information workers of the Party to fully implement the decisions made at the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea by giving full play to the ideological and mental power of the masses through the fresh and vigorous information and motivation work under the slogan "Let us be red information and motivation workers of the Party, who dynamically propels the victorious advance of socialism!".

He called upon party organizations at all levels to conduct the work with primary information workers of the Party as part of the work of the Party committee and bring about a decisive turn in the mass political work.

The reporter underscored the need to more loudly roll drums of the revolution and blare bugles for advance, firmly rallied around Kim Jong Un in single mind, and more dynamically struggle to build a comprehensively developed powerful socialist state of Korean-style.

Speeches were made at the conference.

Speakers said that the primary information workers find worth of working and take pride in themselves in becoming agitators who arouse the masses to implementing the Party's policies on the first-line trench of the ideological front they have been posted by the Party, and whom everybody waits.

They underscored their pledge to be true buglers of the Party sharing thought and intention with the Party all the time and firing a salve of an ideological campaign and making it focused, steady and accurate.

They analyzed and reviewed mistakes made in the work for improving the responsibility and role of the Party primary information workers.
