Recently, Kim Chaek University of Technology is introducing a new engineering teaching method to bring up its students into competent personnel.
The method helps students formulate a project and work out its design by themselves, based on what they have learned, and complete and operate it.
Thanks to this method, students develop their creative abilities through education and practice.
The university is directing special efforts to the genius education.
It ensures that those students with outstanding abilities selected in the genius classes receive lessons and guidance of professors, doctors and other competent lecturers and researchers so as to train themselves into personnel who are capable of pushing back the frontiers of science and technology.
The intelligent students in the engineering class took the first place several times in the Codechef Internet Program Contest.
Lecturer Kil Chol Rim said: We will introduce our own way the good experience and excellent teaching methods of modern education in keeping with its developing trend so as to train our students into development- and creation-oriented talents with high practical ability.
