Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), who is on a visit to the Republic of Cuba as head of a delegation of the party and government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on May 23 met and had a talk with Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, president of the Council of State and president of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, at the building of the Council State.
Ri Su Yong said that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un values the close relations of friendship with Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez and leads the efforts to boost equally-beneficial exchange and cooperation between both countries.
He expressed the invariable stand of the party, government and people of the DPRK to steadily develop the traditional relations of friendship with Cuba, true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un.
Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez said that he was very pleased to convey warm brotherly feelings and greetings to Kim Jong Un, and pledged to invariably develop the traditional relations of friendship provided by the great leaders of both countries, Fidel Castro Ruz and Raul Castro Ruz, President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Noting that the present complicate international situation requires both counties to further mutual support and solidarity in the struggle for defending sovereignty, dignity and socialism, he stressed that steadfast is the Cuba's will to expand exchange and cooperation with the DPRK. -0-
