The DPRK culture exhibition took place in Beijing, China from June 14 to 20 on the occasion of the first anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un ‘s visit to China.
Seen at the exhibition venue were photos of the Supreme Leader’s visit to China.
Also on display were works of the peerlessly great man, album documenting his energetic external activities, Korean stamps and art pieces associated with the creative talent of the Korean nation.
Present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition were the Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and other figures of various circles, masses and staff members of the DPRK Embassy in Beijing.
Speeches were made at the ceremony.
The Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation said that the DPRK is an independent country and the Korean people are diligent and good-natured people. The China-DPRK relations of friendship were formed in blood and the prosperity of the DPRK is beneficial to the peaceful development of China, he said.
The secretary general of an organization in Beijing said that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the DPRK, expressing the will to further activate exchanges between the two countries and thus make contributions to the development of the traditional China-DPRK friendship down through generations.
