At such a historic time when a new era of overall national prosperity has opened up, our people are significantly celebrating the 92 nd founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army with a boundless pride of victors of a dignified, glorious and powerful country.

On April 25, 1932, President Kim Il Sung declared the birth of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army - the first-ever revolutionary armed forces of Juche-type. Since then, our people could vigorously wage a do-or-die resistance against imperialism upholding the banner of national liberation and self-reliant independence with their own genuine revolutionary army. This was the starting point of the glorious history of Korean revolution advancing by dint of arms.

President Kim Il Sung put forth new lines and policies based on the original revolutionary idea that the man himself is the master of his own destiny and the revolution in one’s own country should be carried out by the nation’s own efforts. He then inspired our people and organized them to a sacred nationwide anti-Japanese war.

Thanks to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung , the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army could wage a valiant struggle and save the destiny and future of our nation that had been suffering under the brutal colonial rule of the Japanese imperialism, creating a glorious history and tradition. They are the history and tradition that we can look back with great pride and dignity, and should also be carried forward generation after generation.

President Kim Il Sung pioneered our revolution by dint of arms and created the ever-victorious history and tradition of socialist Korea, which constitute the immortal achievements in the history of our fatherland. The tradition of loyalty, indomitable revolutionary spirit, death-defying spirit, the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and strenuous efforts created by the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs is a great source of power for starting and propelling the Korean revolution to victory.

Now our Army and people are filled with a firm determination to follow the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and strive yet more vigorously for eternal prosperity of the country and happiness of our posterity, holding high the revolutionary flag that had been fluttering on Mt. Paektu.

The heroic Korean People’s Army that inherited the great traditions of anti-Japanese guerrillas has developed incomparably stronger compared to the past. This clearly demonstrates that our state is a world military power strong enough to overwhelmingly deter and reliably frustrate all types of war maneuvers of the imperialists at any given time or emergency in terms of its capabilities of war response, rapid counterattack ability and combat preparedness.

The revolution with great history and traditions, and reliable inheritance always emerges victorious. Only victory and glory will be in store for us as we hold our respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the greatest-ever commander, in high esteem and advance towards the brilliant future of a socialist power, flying high the red flag of Mt. Paektu.
