Chairman Kim Jong Un inspects Pursuit and Assault Plane Regiment under Air and Antiaircraft Division of KPA

Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected the Pursuit and Assault Plane Regiment under the Air and Antiaircraft Division of the Korean People's Army in the Western District.
He was accompanied by Ri Pyong Chol, Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, General Pak Jong Chon, Chief of the General Staff of the KPA, and other senior officials of the Party Central Committee.
He learned about the preparedness for sortie of the fighters belonging to the pursuit and assault regiment and the performance of the air defence task in the western area.
Kim Jong Un expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the regiment is reliably defending the territorial air in the western area of the country, with ardent desire to repay the trust of the Party and the motherland, praised their efforts and put forward crucial tasks which would serve as a guideline in further strengthening the combat efficiency of the regiment.
He met and talked with aces of the regiment.
Showing deep trust to them time and again that the territorial air of the country is entrusted entirely to them, he called upon the combat pilots to more firmly arm themselves with the Juche tactics of the Party, further intensify flight training and wage a vigorous struggle to have higher combat aviation and fighting capacity with a determination to devote their lives to the Party and the motherland.
Kim Jong Un, together with the accompanying senior officials, watched the flight training of the pursuit and assault plane regiment.
Seeing the brave air movements and combat actions of the combat pilots of the regiment, he expressed great satisfaction and gave a big hand to them.
Kim Jong Un said: In the training today, the dependable pilots of the Party demonstrated that they are always ready to make a sortie once they are given an order. The combat pilots of the regiment with the indomitable spirit of national defence and self-sacrificing spirit clearly showed their will to defend the territorial air by displaying their high ability to perform the flying combat task. I am deeply moved by the efforts and devotion of the pilots who are always loyal to the Party's order and call.
He sent his regards to the entire combat pilots and other service personnel of the regiment and their wives.
