Fish dishes are served every day on a regular basis on the table of children at baby homes, orphanages, and primary and middle schools for orphans and inmates of old people's homes in the DPRK thanks to the warm love of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Early in January 2014, the Supreme Leader made the rounds of seafood refrigerating facilities newly built by a unit of the Korean People's Army, and said that he came today to discuss the possibility of supplying fishes to the baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes across the country.
And he personally calculated in his memo how much fish is annually needed to regularly provide each parentless child and old person with no caretakers with 300 grams of fish and issued an order on the spot to the KPA to set up a fishery station specializing in the supply of fishes to the abovesaid units.
As he visited the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage in February that year, the Supreme Leader said that he would give an order in his capacity as the Supreme Commander that the KPA units in the places where persimmons are produced should secure and supply dried persimmons while referring to the need to feed orphaned children highly-nutritious dried persimmons on a regular basis.
