Ominous Prelude to Total Catastrophe of North-South Relations

Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The north-south joint liaison office was completely destroyed with a loud explosion at 14:50 on Tuesday.

As already clarified, the relevant field of our side put into practice the decisive measure of completely destroying the north-south joint liaison office in the Kaesong Industrial Zone, in reflection of the zeal of our enraged people to punish human scum who challenged the noblest dignity and prestige of our country and those who sheltered the scum, perpetrators of shuddering crime.

The liaison office, which was set up in the Kaesong Industrial Zone for facilitating close discussion between the authorities of the north and the south and fully providing exchange and cooperation, had been appreciated as the fruition of the historic Panmunjom north-south summit in April 2018, but it turned into a useless house by the incompetent south Korean authorities.

The latest punishment measure conducted in the wake of cutting off all the communication liaison lines between the north and the south is the first stage step of the primary action taken by us determined to surely force those, who hurt the dignity of our inviolable supreme leadership, and those, who have shown no sign of remorse or reflection, to pay for their crimes.

Closely following the attitude of the south Korean authorities, we will set the intensity for carrying out successive action measures against the enemy and the time for decisive actions in response to their subsequent demeanor and conduct.

Under such an acute situation as now, shameless and reckless attitude and response of the south Korean authorities will lead to our tougher retaliation plans. -0-
