Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- The eye-sore north-south joint liaison office, unnecessary and useless one, was completely destroyed amid the mounting zeal of the service personnel and people of the DPRK for punishment.
This is entirely just exercise of right on the part of the DPRK. And it is just the first-stage step of the primary action to make those, who hurt the inviolable dignity of its supreme leadership and show no sign of remorse and reflection, pay dearly for their crimes without fail, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article, and goes on:
Those, who were seeking a possible way out, seized with vague expectations and conjecture, are running helter-skelter upon hearing the sound of explosion of vengeance.
The measure taken by us this time is a part of merciless punishment to those who have dreamed a daydream in persistent pursuit of the concealed policy hostile to us.
But this is just a beginning. It will be followed by uninterrupted explosions for defending justice and they might far exceed the imagination of those who are guessing the development of the situation as they please. Our people can hardly repress their surging resentment and our army can not exercise restraint any longer.
A hideous crime surely entails a ruthless punishment.
As we have reconfirmed that the enemy is the enemy after all, our decision is entirely just.
Those who made the hideous provocation will not be able to escape miserable end in front of the merciless and righteous struggle of all the service personnel and people who turned out in devotedly defending their leader and social system, the article stresses. -0-
