The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea gave special assistance to the people in the totally blocked Kaesong City, true to the noble intention of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who gives top and absolute priority to the interests and convenience of the people.
The Party Central Committee saw that the state emergency anti-epidemic system was shifted to the maximum emergency system as regards the dangerous situation in Kaesong City that may lead to a deadly and destructive disaster, and took emergency measures in succession for the stabilization of the people’s livelihood in the blocked Kaesong City. On August 7, 2020, the Party Central Committee sent a large quantity of polished rice and funds to the people in Kaesong City.
Train laden with the special relief materials associated with benevolence of the motherly Party arrived at Kaesong Station in the afternoon on August 7.
Officials in Kaesong City said… The Supreme Leader, who saw that the special relief materials were sent lest the inhabitants in Kaesong City should feel any inconveniences in their life, is our own father, indeed. Though we are far apart from the capital Pyongyang, we have the boundless honor and happiness of living nearest to the Party Central Committee. We are not afraid of the world greatest disaster but will emerge victorious without fail in today’s anti-epidemic campaign.
