Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), received a reply message from Bounnang Vorachith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on Aug. 26.
Bounnang Vorachith in the message expressed his sincere gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending a beautiful floral basket and a message of greeting on the occasion of his 83rd birthday.
The message expressed the belief that the fraternal people of the DPRK would make new greater achievements in defending the country, building a powerful socialist country and accomplishing the cause of the peaceful reunification of the country under the seasoned leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un.
It wished him happiness in good health and success in his noble and honorable work.
