Today the world people admire and envy the socialist Korea who has solved the youth problem brilliantly and is now making the young people fully display their mettle with ceaseless new legends of heroic youth.

The DPRK could make vigorous advance without any stagnation and stalemate but with lively spirit and energy as the Workers’ Party of Korea has trained young people into stalwart pillars of the country and masters of the future.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said.

“Foreseeing the protracted nature of the revolution in the initial period after its foundation, our Party made it a strategic line to attach importance to young people and has trained them into warriors who will implement the cause of the Juche revolution.”

Youth problem is an issue of weighty importance that determines destiny of a country and nation.

President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il solved youth problem brilliantly in the DPRK, thus providing an example of the world youth movement.

Regarding the youth problem as a strategic one related to destiny of the revolution from the first period of the revolutionary struggle, the President paid deep attention to it in the whole period of his life. Based on the immortal Juche idea, the President newly elucidated position and role of the young people in implementing the cause of revolution, put forward original ideas and theories on the youth movement and applied them in the Korean youth movement. Unlike the preceding theory which had regarded young people as a bridge and reserve of revolution, the President regarded them as the main force of the revolution and the core elements that shoulder destiny of the country and relied on them to open up the path for the Korean revolution.

The Chairman strengthened and developed the youth league into the leader’s youth organization after the august name of the President and handed over to the young people the torch of the revolution associated with spirit of the forerunners. The Chairman also provided energetic leadership to make the young people fully discharge their honorable mission and duty as a vanguard and shock brigade of the socialist construction.

Witnessing proud realities of the Korean youth movement, a Canadian personage said… In many countries of the world young people become source of social trouble. However, young people in the DPRK display youthful courage and wisdom in arduous and difficult posts and regard the national defence as their sacred duty and honorable mission.

The example of the DPRK that solved brilliantly the youth problem, the most important of all socio-political problems, serves as a symbol of ideal and hope for the young people across the world.

Today Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, another peerlessly great person, stands in the van of the Koran youth movement.

True to the noble intention of the President and the Chairman, the Supreme Leader devotes his all to the preparing of the young people into reliable successors to the revolution and vanguards of the Party.

The Supreme Leader has further strengthened and developed the youth league into the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League and held up the young people as reserves, scouts and wings of the Party. The Supreme Leader also saw that the youth league strengthened ideological education among the young people. He also showed love and trust to the young people so that they could fully display youthful wisdom and courage in the building of a powerful socialist country.
