A national internet seminar on the Juche idea on the theme of "Juche Idea and Independence" was held in Kampala, Uganda, on October 6 to mark the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea made a report in the seminar, which was attended by Juche idea followers in Uganda.
He said that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il created the immortal Juche idea and enriched it to contribute greatly to the cause of global independence, adding that the Korean people have made notable achievements in socialist construction, resolutely frustrating the imperialists' pressure and blockade, under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, holding aloft the banner of independence.
The Juche idea sheds light on the African continent, he said, extending full support and solidarity to the Korean people in the efforts to put an end to the imperialists' monopolistic domination and maintain independence in the international arena.
Speakers said the Korean people are blessed with the great leaders generation after generation and called on the new generation to hold fast to the Juche idea as the correct guiding ideology for the development of Africa and open up a rosy future.
