The 11th Plenary Meeting of the 14th Presidium of the Supreme People's
Assembly of the DPRK was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang
on November 4.
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the
Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of
Korea, First Vice-Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK
and President of the Presidium of the SPA of the DPRK, presided over the
meeting.
Present at the meeting were the members of the Presidium of the SPA.
Brought up as agenda items were "On Adopting the DPRK Law
on Prohibition of Smoking" and "On Revising and Supplementing the DPRK
Law on Enterprise".
The meeting heard an explanation on the main contents of the agenda items deliberated at the Legislation Committee of the SPA.
Agenda items were studied in depth and opinions were exchanged.
Decrees of the Presidium of the SPA "On Adopting the DPRK Law on Prohibition of Smoking" and "On Revising and
Supplementing the DPRK Law on Enterprise" were adopted with unanimous approval.
