The Sunchon collier goods production company in South Phyongan Province turns out a variety of soaps with the help of recyclable technology.

They vary in kind, including washing, toilet and soft soaps.

According to users, they are highly effective in cleaning, bubbling and bleaching, do not stimulate skin and help wipe out filth.

The company solves the problem of raw materials for soap by extracting potassium from burning dust from cement factories.

“We produce soap with caustic potash as main material. Caustic potash becomes a good material of soap production as it is alkali series like sodium,” said Choe Yong Myong, workteam of the company.

To turn soap into a lump is a knotty problem in producing soap based on caustic potash.

Developers developed a technology to convert soap into solidification by way of applying a new additive.

An edible waste oil from restaurants and foodstuff processing factories are being used as an oil for soap production.

The company manufactured such facilities for soap production as reaction furnace of saponification, automatic switchboard, dryer and others.

The current soap production process consists of the process extracting caustic potash from cement burning dust, that saponify by combining edible waste oil with caustic potash and drying and mounding processes.

Meanwhile, it turned out functional soap that have antibiotic and nutritive effects with the help of propolis.

“We named soap ‘Jaryok’. These soaps can easily be made everywhere as there are rich in raw materials resources, simple in production process and cost-effective while saving manpower and electricity,” said Kwon Yong Do, manager of the company.
