The Eighth Congress of the WPK sent a reply message to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on January 11.
Expressing heartfelt thanks to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for having sent sincere message of greetings to the Eighth Congress of the WPK, the message said.
Ardent congratulations and best wishes of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China are a great support and encouragement to the delegates to the Eighth Congress of the WPK and entire Party members.
As stressed in the report of the Congress, the WPK has directed primary efforts, during the period under review, to the development of special relations between the two parties and two countries of the DPRK and China with a long historical root and thus opened up a new chapter of solid friendship with socialism as the core. The entire members of the WPK will, in the future, too, cement the DPRK-China friendship associated with heart and soul of the supreme leaders of the two parties and make all efforts to further strengthen and develop it in line with the demand of the times.
The Eighth Congress of the WPK extends militant greetings to the Central Committee and entire members of the Communist Party of China and wishes new success in the building of socialism of Chinese character under the leadership of the Communist Party of China headed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, the message stressed.
