The demand for the products of the Rangnang Jihyang foodstuffs production company is now increasing among the commercial service bases throughout the country including Pyongyang.
There are dozens of kinds of products made from natural materials including diverse nutritious health-promoting taffy, rice-cake, pancake, milk powders and freshwater fish powder. They can instantly or easily be cooked in families or at any other place.
“We produce tasty foodstuffs containing rich nutritive substances by applying a variety of processing methods developed by Korean ancestors, including hot and cold processing, flavouring and material mixing,” said Kim Chun Ok, director of the company.
Purchasers often seek the kaoliang taffy made by boiling meat hard and other kinds of taffy made by harmoniously adding such materials as perilla and glutinous rice and others made from wild fruits and medicinal herbs including the fruit of matrimony vine, fruit of Crataegus pinnatifida and yam.
Freshwater fish powder, combined vegetable powder and vegetable oil products are also popular with users.
