The sericulture and silk industry sector has mapped out a scientific operation for implementing this year's assignments under the national economic plan and is making active efforts for the purpose.
Measures were discussed to increase the per-hectare productivity of mulberry leaves and cocoon, modernize the production processes of silk mills on a higher level, revitalize the silk thread and silk cloth production and improve their quality and the scientific and dynamic plan was mapped out.
Efforts are made to surpass the peak year production level in the cocoon production.
The silk mills across the country have mapped out detailed monthly goals for the modernization of the equipment and the recovery of their performance, the localization of raw materials, recycling, the development of new products and improvement of their quality and are carrying out them with credit.
