Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Congratulatory Letter from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on Thursday, the 109th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
The letter feted the President as an outstanding thinker and theoretician and great man of practice who lighted the way ahead of the times and revolution and put modern history onto the orbit of independence by means of the immortal Juche idea, and as a savior of national restoration and father of socialist Korea who defeated the two formidable imperialisms in one century to save the destiny of the people and built the invincible state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence on the homeland.
It also praised the President as the father of the nation who held all the fellow countrymen to his broad bosom out of boundless generosity and magnanimity and a peerlessly great elder statesman who was revered by heads of state and personages of many countries and even those who had different ideas and political views for his noble charisma.
The President was a peerless patriot who demonstrated the prestige of the Korean-style socialism to the world by means of gigantic creation and change while braving all sorts of challenges and ordeals of history, and the lodestar of national reunification who led in the van the sacred struggle for the country's reunification, the long-cherished wish of the nation, by laying out lines and policies of independent reunification, the letter said.
The President who opened up a new history of socialist Korea and the new era of independence and provided ever-lasting treasures for the eternal prosperity of the country and nation is immortal as the sun of Juche enjoying boundless reverence and praise from the Korean nation and world progressives, the letter stressed.
Thanks to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, another peerlessly great man, the cause of Juche and the movement of Koreans in Japan, which President Kim Il Sung originated and Chairman Kim Jong Il advanced dynamically through centuries, will emerge ever-victorious, the letter pointed out.
We will make distinguished contributions to the building of a powerful socialist state and the cause of national reunification, in hearty response to the fighting programme set forth at the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, the letter said.
