I take it a pleasure that the Eighth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, under your energetic guidance, has laid a firm guarantee for carrying forward the socialist cause of Cuba through generations, true to the idea of Fidel Castro Ruz.
The Cuban people have defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and confidently advanced along the road of socialism braving through the difficulties and trials of history under the correct leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba headed by esteemed Raul Castro Ruz.
I believe that the Communist Party of Cuba and the people would achieve a great success in the struggle to firmly defend the precious wealth of revolution handed over by the revolutionaries of the old generation and build a prospering socialist state in firm unity around First Secretary Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
