The people in the DPRK significantly commemorated the 131st anniversary of May Day, the international holiday of the working people of the whole world. Senior Party and government officials called at major sites of socialist construction on May 1 to congratulate the working people.
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-Chairman of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; Ri Pyong Chol, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Party and Secretary of the Party Central Committee; Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, and other senior Party and government officials and officials of the Cabinet and party and government organs at all levels went out to construction sites in the capital city including the site for construction of 10,000 flats, the Chollima Streel Complex, the Pyongyang

Textile Mill and the Taechong Cooperative Farm in Unpha County to commemorate the holiday together with workers, farmers and intellectuals.
At the industrial establishments and farms across the country they placed floral baskets and bouquets before the mosaic murals of the great leaders

and paid tribute to them.
That day, they worked with the working people, encouraging them. They also played volleyball, table tennis, Yut game and other sports and amusement games and appreciated performance given by mobile art squads.
