All people in the DPRK significantly commemorated May Day, the international holiday of the working people of the world.

are laid in state, paid respects to their smiling portraits.
Officials and working people laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the bronze statues of
Kim Il Sung
and
Kim Jong Il
and their smiling portraits in different places including the Mansu Hill and paid tribute to them.
A song and dance performance of the Mnsudae Art Troupe was given at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre. Colorful art performances were given at theatres and outdoor stages in the capital city of Pyongyang and provinces. Various sports and amusement games were played in workplaces, adding to the festive mood.
Officials of provinces, cities and counties and those at institutions, industrial establishments and farms met exemplary working people who are making innovations at major sites of economic construction to congratulate them on the holiday.
