Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the
Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the
Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey
of different units in Samjiyon City.
Looking round the
construction sites including Phothae-dong and Rimyongsu-dong where the
third-stage project for building Samjiyon City is forcefully underway
and domestic building materials production bases of the February 16 Division, Kim Tok Hun
stressed the need to push forward the construction as planned by
prioritizing the supply of materials and actively using domestic finishing
building materials.
Going round the Samjiyon City People's
Hospital, the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory and the Samjiyon Potato
Farina Production Factory, he said that the units
associated with leadership exploits of the Party should play an active role
in improving the people's living and developing the local industry
by promoting their development with innovative business strategy and
becoming model units in implementing the policies of the Party.
The
consultative meetings held on the spot discussed practical issues
arising in accelerating and completing the third-stage project of
building Samjiyon City in a qualitative way and remodelling all the cities
and counties into developed regions with their own local
characteristics on the basis of new standard created in the construction
of holly place of the revolution.
Meanwhile, Premier Kim held a consultative meeting at the Hyesan Youth Mine to expand its capacity.
