Ardent yearning and boundless reverence for the great leader Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea and uncommon saint, are warmly felt in this country in July.
Kim Il Sung performed the immortal exploits for the country and revolution, and the times and history. Strong desire of the Korean people to tell his noble revolutionary life for all ages has been reflected in many literary works created decade after decade and century after century.
The cycle of novels "Immortal History", Kim Il Sung Prize work laureate holding the most brilliant position in the development of literature portraying the leader, is a literary work of national treasure which wonderfully comprehends the glorious revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung chronologically.
49 novels have been written up to date since the novel "The Year 1932", the first work of the cycle of novels "Immortal History", was created on the occasion of the 60th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung.
There were brought out books including the one titled "The Leader and Ryu Kyong Su" which depicted the revolutionary comradeship and warm human love of Kim Il Sung.
Also created were lots of poems and songs and odes to the leader filled with fervent respect and ardent longing of the people across the country for the great father Kim Il Sung.
World politicians and other celebrities of different stripes, too, wrote and published a lot of books in praise of the achievements of Kim Il Sung who rendered great services to the socialist cause and the human cause of independence.
