He learned in detail about the assemblage of generating equipment and the transmission system and underscored the need to thoroughly ensure safety in the preparation of trial run of generators on a scientific basis and properly manage the hydraulic structures.
At the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, he looked round the nitrogen workshop No. 2 and the site for assembling the new gas generators and called for perfecting the production processes in a more scientific way on the principle of fully putting the fertilizer industry on Juche-oriented basis and strictly observing the requirements of the designing and construction in the project for expanding their capacities.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed the measures for the units concerned to correctly subdivide the assignments to hit the phased targets of the campaign for implementing the decisions of the Party Congress, carry out the operation and command in a revolutionary way and supply in time the items of cooperative production by the relevant units.
Premier Kim understood the existing production foundation of the Chonnaeri Cement Factory and was reported of the work for the expansion of cement production capacity.
Meanwhile, he looked round different cooperative farms and the organic compound fertilizer factories in Hamju, Jongphyong and Kowon Counties to learn about the preparations for farming in spring and took relevant measures.
