Researcher Jong Won Ju at the Institute of International Studies of the DPRK released an article under the title "Dangerous Criminal State of Environmental Destruction Threatening Humanity".   The article said.  Daily increasing is the protest of the international community against the Japanese government which decided to discharge the nuclear-contaminated water of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant into the sea.  Some time ago, colloidal substances suspected of radioactive wastes were discovered near the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant and radioactivity of high concentration detected in the drainage canal by it, triggering off another international dispute. As a result of investigation, it was confirmed that the colloidal substances were caused by the leakage of radioactive wastes outside with a suspicion that some of them might be washed by rainwater to flow into the sea.   This notwithstanding, however, Japan does not think of revoking its decision on discharging the nuclear-contaminated water into the sea, doggedly insisting that the recent leakage incident did not affect the environment.  Discharging the nuclear-contaminated water into the sea, the common wealth of humankind and the root of all the life-activities, is surely a crime threatening the existence of the whole humanity beyond the boundary of a country and a region. A large amount of radioactive substances which leaked out by the explosion of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant in Japan in 2011 were detected on the Pacific coast of North America as well as the Japanese coast, giving grave consequences to the ecological environment of the whole world.   Now Japan has been deeply involved in all kinds of criminal acts related to the destruction of the ecological environment such as the internationally-forbidden whaling for food and ivory smuggling, to say nothing of the discharge of radioactivity-contaminated water of high concentration into the sea. It shows that Japan is a dangerous criminal state destroying the environment for its selfish purpose, paying no heed to the international laws and the health and security of all humanity.   Japan can never deceive the world justice and conscience, no matter how hard it may talk about "security" and "scientific accuracy" while cheating the world people by saying that the water stored through purification with the help of the equipment for removing polynuclear varieties is not contaminated water but "processed water".  Japan must not resort to trickery while avoiding the eyes of the world but cancel its decision on discharging the radioactivity-contaminated water into the sea at once, the article stressed.
