Agricultural workers gave a poetry recital “Tell, fireworks display for the war victory” on July 25 in celebration of the 68th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
It was attended by Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang municipal Party committee, officials of the UAWK and agricultural workers in Pyongyang.
The recital of poem “Korea fights” showed well the indomitable spiritual strength of the generation of war victors who had fired all their shots before falling to defeat the enemy and defend even an inch of the country’s territory and who offered active assistance to the front and promoted wartime production with intense hatred for the aggressors.
Poem “For my only motherland” strongly touched the hearts of the participants as it tells in every line the strong sense of patriotism of the soldiers who unsparingly laid down their prime of youth and lives as human bombs to defend every inch of the country and open the route of advance of their units.
Performers of poems “O thee, Jiktong Pass!” and “War told who are owners of this land” impressively depicted the noble soul and spirit of the people in the rear who fought undauntedly on the pass and in every field clouded with powder smoke for the victory in the war, faithfully upholding the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.
Hearing the recitation of poem “That night, that early morning, that morning…”, the participants once again remembered the revolutionary exploits performed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has built the strongest power to firmly ensure the security and future of the country and people and added glory to the history of invincibility that will shine forever by opening the way of building an independent and powerful country through the multitude of difficulties at the forefront.
