Workers and trade unionists met with a war veteran at the Central Hall of Workers on the 26th on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
Present at the meeting were Pak In Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, officials of the Federation, workers and trade unionists.
The meeting heard a speech of Ri Ye Chol who fought as a scout during the past Fatherland Liberation War.
He said the V-Day July 27 is a precious fruition of the outstanding military idea, original Juche-oriented war tactics and energetic guidance of the great leader Kim Il Sung and a product of the burning patriotism and indomitable fighting spirit of the Korean people firmly rallied around him.
Thanks to the great love of the respected Kim Jong Un who calls the war veterans laudable heroes of the nation and genuine patriots, the participants in the Fatherland Liberation War are leading the most worthwhile life, he added.
