Banquets for the participants in the Seventh National Conference of War Veterans were given at the People's Palace of Culture, the Okryu Restaurant, the Chongryu Restaurant and the Pyongyang Noodle House on the 27th.
Participating in the banquets together with war veteranswere Choe Ryong Hae and Kim Tok Hun, Members of the Presidium of the PoliticalBureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other leadingofficials of the Party and the government.
Speeches were made there.
The speakers said the word of "victory" called by all the Korean people with great pride is always shining with the immortal name of the great leader Kim Il Sung and is proudly associated with the names of the war veterans.
Thanks to the respected Kim Jong Un who infinitely respects and treasures the war veterans and is so concerned to provide them with greater honour and happiness, the feats of victorious wartime generation are shining brighter, they said and stressed that the Korean people will vigorously carry forward the noble spirit and tradition of victory created by the war veterans.
