The people and service personnel of the People's Army in the DPRK significantly celebrated the 68th anniversary of the victory in the greatFatherland Liberation War.
People visited the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the supreme temple of Juche where the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are laid in state, and made a bow to their smiling portraits.
Service personnel and other people called at the revolutionary sites associated with the immortal leadership exploits of the fatherly leader Kim Il Sung for war victory on the occasion of the V-Day. They had a deep understanding of the undying feats of Kim Il Sung who defeated the two imperialist powers in one generation and wrought a military miracle noteworthy in the 20th century.
A song and dance performance of the Mansudae Art Troupe was given at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and a concert of the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre. Colourful performances were also given in the capital and provinces.
