Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from General Secretary Xi Jinping

Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), received a reply message from Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and President of the People’s Republic of China, on July 23.
The message reads as follows:
General Secretary Kim Jong Un sent a message of fervent congratulations in the early hours of the day on the 100th founding anniversary of the CPC to highly appreciate the historic successes the CPC has achieved by uniting and leading the Chinese people for one hundred years, which showed the friendly feelings of General Secretary Kim Jong Un , of the WPK and of the Korean people toward myself, the CPC and the Chinese people.
I, on behalf of the CPC and the Chinese people, express heartfelt thanks for it and extend sincere greetings to General Secretary Kim Jong Un , to the WPK and to the Korean people.
I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to General Secretary Kim Jong Un for having exceptionally sent a verbal message of sympathy to me over the damage caused by heavy rain that hit Henan Province and other regions of China.
China and the DPRK are both socialist states led by communist Parties.
In the new situation, the Chinese side, together with the DPRK side, will successfully defend, consolidate and develop the China-DPRK relations by fully implementing the important common understanding reached by the two sides, thus contributing to the accomplishment of the cause of socialism in the two countries and making positive contributions towards providing the peoples of the two countries with happiness and achieving peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region.
I wish that General Secretary Kim Jong Un would continue to make fresher and greater successes in carrying out the cause of socialist construction by leading the WPK and the Korean people. I also wish that everything would go well with your work.
