On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the DPRK, celebration meetings, symposia, lecture meetings, film shows and book and photo exhibitions were held in Russia, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Syria, Pakistan, Denmark, Sweden, Ukraine, Finland, Serbia, Guinea, Nigeria, Libya, Algeria, Uganda and Mexico.
Screened at the film shows were DPRK films representing the proud reality of socialist Korea, including Glorious History of Winning Victories by Dint of Self-reliance.
The events were attended by public figures of all social standings and citizens of the corresponding countries.
Those held in Russia, Sweden and Finland adopted congratulatory messages to General Secretary Kim Jong Un of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
