A national sci-tech presentation in the field of metallic materials was held through video conferencing between the 14th and the 16th under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
The theme of the presentation was "Development of Metallic Materials Based on Our Country's Resources".
The presentation was attended by teachers, researchers, postgraduate students and field technicians from several units including Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Chongjin University of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, the Ferrous Metal Research Institute under the State Academy of Sciences and the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex. Presented there were more than 40 excellent papers which reflected the scientific research findings conducive to the development of the national economy.
A lecture on the trend of development of metallic materials was given during the presentation.
