In July Juche 37(1948), reporters came to the residence of the great leader Kim Il Sung to meet the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.
Kim Jong Suk was the most faithful revolutionary soldier who fought the anti-Japanese war under the leadership of Kim Il Sung.
In those days, people were making many petitions that Kim Jong Suk should be widely introduced as she was well-known as the anti-Japanese war heroine and woman commander of the Paektu.
With such request, the reporters called on her.
Kim Jong Suk came out of the house to kindly greet them. Looking back upon the days of the anti-Japanese war fought under the leadership of Kim Il Sung, she impressively told them the stories of the fighting spirit and feats displayed and performed by the women soldiers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
Reporters asked her to tell a story about herself. Kim Jong Suk said:
You are calling me "woman commander" and "first lady". But you have no need to do so. I was a soldier of General Kim Il Sung, and I will live as his soldier not only today but also tomorrow.
The life of a soldier is included in the history of the leader, she said and earnestly told them to introduce General Kim Il Sung more extensively.
