The Nano Applied Technology Institute of the Nano Engineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences has recently developed a hydrophobic and antibiotic nano cloth, drawing the attention of people.
Its developer Dr. Jong Un Sun says:
"Some functional materials are needed to make a nano functional cloth. In making nano materials, it is important to process them so that they can be attached to textiles."
Dr. Jong Un Sun has made researches for a number of years to find out the secret of the nano materials.
She made repeated speculation and pursuit in order to get nano materials with better characteristics while studying the world trend of development of nano technology and making comparative experiments many times.
Finally she could make clear the chemical activity, high chemical bonding strength and strong absorptive power of functional nano materials.
As a result, the hydrophobic yet highly antibiotic functional cloth came to be developed.
The hydrophobic and antibiotic nano cloth is said to be very popular.
Active efforts to use it are made in the fields of public health, food and cosmetics industry, and fishery.
