It is the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to put forward the educators devoting themselves to the coming generations to the envy of the whole world.
The WPK always regards it as an important task to solve the issue of educators and pays deep attention to it.
The 13th National Meeting of Educational Workers held in September Juche 103(2014) discussed an issue on strengthening the ranks of teachers and establishing the social ethos of treating them preferentially.
The respected Kim Jong Un called at the rebuilt Pyongyang Teachers Training College in January Juche 107(2018).
He stressed the importance of building a good camp of teachers, saying that as a tree with strong roots bears good fruits, so the ability of the students can be raised when the qualifications of the teachers are high.
In September Juche 108(2019), the 14th National Conference of Teachers was held in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on an unprecedentedly large scale.
Rim Mi Ra, Principal of the Ryonhwa Primary School in the Central District, who participated in the conference, has this to say:
"The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said the revolution in education is, in essence, the revolutionization of teachers and the teachers should shoulder the destiny of building a socialist educational power, talents power. He also said it is a great pleasure and pride of our Party and people and the strength of our state to have a large unit of teachers, career revolutionaries who are obediently devoting their all to the education of the rising generations.
It can be said that the mightiness of the country and the happiness of the posterity are decided by the devotion of teachers. With such self-consciousness and responsibility, we are educating the rising generations."
The social ethos of treating the teachers preferentially and putting them forward is increasing in the DPRK day by day.
Modern dwelling houses for educators have been built across the country. Their living and working conditions are provided to the maximum.
Conscious that the qualifications of teachers are the quality of education, the ability of the students and the speed of advance of the country, the teachers throughout the country are bringing up the future generations wonderfully with high quality and noble traits.
