The Rangnang Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory in the capital city Pyongyang is well known to the country for its good recycling.
What is specially noteworthy in the recycling of the factory is that importance is attached to the improvement of quality as much as the output and variety of goods.
Recycling is aimed at reducing the cost, making a substantial contribution to the economic development and producing many goods favoured by people.
The products of the factory are diverse in variety and high in quality.
Waste plastics account for more than 65 percent and even 95 to 100 percent of raw materials but the qualitative indexes of over 200 kinds of products including all sorts of plastic containers, boxes and tubes are high.
The factory made it a rule to steadily acquire the knowledge of recycling through the sci-tech learning space.
Thanks to the creativity and enthusiasm of the producers, a number of equipment such as washer, dehydrator, dryer and crusher needed for recycling the waste plastics have been manufactured and a lot of plastic goods developed including different kinds of plastic containers, boxes and seats.
In this course, more and more inventors of the factory are presenting valuable technical innovation proposals.
10 years ago, the factory had about 10 university graduates. But now over 80 percent of the employees are possessed of science and technology in their field of specialization.
The factory is still pushing ahead with recycling in a methodological way thoroughly depending on advanced science and technology, expanding successes.
