November 16 is Mother's Day in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
On the day, children offer greetings and present flowers to their mothers who gave birth to and brought them up, representing their respect and best wishes for the latter, before enjoying themselves altogether.
But the respected Kim Jong Un visited fishery stations on the Mother's Day in Juche 105(2016).
Kim Un Song, researcher of the Academy of Social Sciences, has this to say:
"Nobody knew why the respected Kim Jong Un visited the fishery station that day.
That day, Kim Jong Un got on a fishing vessel of the May 27 Fishery Station which had just arrived at the wharf.
Seeing the fish dipped up from the hold and falling on the unloading ground, he said he was so glad to hear that a lot of fish had been caught and called at the fishery station straight through to announce the news to the people who sent their children to the posts of defending the country as soon as possible.
It was not until then that the officials realized why he visited the fishery station on the Mother's Day."
Time went by and it was almost the lunchtime but Kim Jong Un headed for the January 8 Fishery Station.
He dropped in at the cold storages of the fishery station.
He found blocks of fish piled up in every storage.
Touching the frozen-fish blocks, he said he recovers from his pent-up fatigue and called for catching more fish as the parents of the orphans and children of old people and sending them to the baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes across the country.
He spent a day at the ports of the East Sea as the father of the children, soldiers and people across the country, reading the minds of women in this country.
