Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, made a field survey of the Taedonggang Electric Appliance Factory and Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326.
Looking round the factories, he stressed the need to further enhance the responsibility and role of the officials in the implementation of the administrative policies of the DPRK government and concentrate main efforts on modernizing the existing production processes and expanding their capacity to produce and supply enough raw and other materials and equipment for the economic construction.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues on accelerating the implementation of the readjustment and reinforcement strategy presented by the Party and conducting in different forms and methods the work to make the officials and employees know well that the national economic plan is just the law of the state and establish the atmosphere of law observance.
