Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Celebrations took place in different countries on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
There were celebration meetings, film shows and photo exhibitions in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, and a lecture in Brazil between October 7 and 11.
Edits about the might of the WPK were shown at the film shows.
The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway praised the WPK for accomplishing the historic task of socialist industrialization in a short period under the outstanding and experienced leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and building a socialist country, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence, adding it has demonstrated its might decade after decade.
The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said that all the victories the Korean people won are a fruition of the outstanding leadership of the WPK, adding it is being admired by the world revolutionary parties and progressive people.
The chairman of the Finland-Korea Society and the international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League said that the WPK is the most powerful party which is victoriously advancing the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence, and the proud achievements the DPRK has made encourage the progressive people struggling to achieve independence.
The chairman of the Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics said that the WPK is upholding H.E. Kim Jong Un at the top posts and developing into a genuine mother party devoting efforts for the good of the people under the uplifted banner of great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Norway, Sweden and Finland. -0-
