The third enlarged plenary meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea was held on October 21 through the video conference system.
It was attended by members and alternate members of the GFTUK Central Committee.
Present there as observers were officials of the GFTUK Central Committee.
The meeting discussed the issues of thoroughly implementing the important tasks set forth by the historic policy speech “On the Orientation of Present Struggle for a Fresh Development of Socialist Construction” the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un delivered at the 5th Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK.
Pak In Chol, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, made a report to be followed by speeches.
A relevant resolution was adopted at the meeting after they made a serious study of a draft resolution and synthesized suggested opinions.
