Reply message to President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un from Chinese President Xi Jinping

Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, on the 19th.
The message expressed heartfelt thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Un for having sent a message of greetings on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
It said various nations of China have been united and made strenuous efforts to achieve development and successes drawing the attention of the world people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China over the 72 years, and continued:
China and Korea have common boundary with a river and a mountain between them. The traditional friendship between the two countries gets firmer as the years go by.
To wonderfully defend, consolidate and develop the China-DPRK friendship corresponds to the fundamental interests of both sides and is beneficial to the regional stability and prosperity as well.
I attach greatest importance to the development of the China-DPRK relations. I'm willing to make efforts together with you to strengthen the strategic communication, deepen friendship and cooperation and lead for active mutual support and thus constantly promote the China-DPRK relations to a new stage.
I believe that the Korean people would be united and make strenuous efforts to thoroughly implement the decisions adopted at the Eighth Congress of the WPK under the firm leadership of the Central Committee of the WPK headed by you, constantly achieving new, greater successes in the cause of building socialism.
I wish you good health and smooth work.
I also wish the DPRK prosperity and its people happiness and welfare, the message noted.
