In Hwangju County of North Hwanghae Province of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Kwangchon Chicken Farm and its feed units are under construction, which will make a great contribution to boosting the poultry industry of the country.
At the end of last year, one thousand and hundreds of houses were built at the feed units under the Kwangchon Chicken Farm and people moved into them.
When it is built, the Kwangchon Chicken Farm will produce thousands of tons of meat with good taste and quality and tens of million eggs a year. The Workers' Party of Korea has long planned and prepared for the construction of the farm with much effort in order to improve the diet of the people.
On July 22, Juche 109(2020) the respected Kim Jong Un visited the farm under construction despite the sultry weather.
That day, he said that since the farm is being built as a model of the poultry sector, its equipment and building should be standards. He stressed the need time and again to ensure the quality of the construction work thoroughly as the farm is furnished with a complete set of the most advanced and modern poultry equipment. And he earnestly said the farm should make a substantial contribution to solving the issue of the people's diet.
In order to provide the children and other people with larger quantities of delicious and nutritious meat and eggs Kim Jong Un proposed building the modern Kwangchon Chicken Farm and visited it in person to give precious instructions on speeding up the project.
That day, he gave specific instructions on the issues which might be raised in the management of the farm after its construction.
Looking round different places of the construction site, he taught many issues including the issue on building good feed units and strengthening the ranks of leading officials who can undertake the chicken farm, the issue on building up good ranks of employees with scientists and technicians in the field of animal husbandry and the issue on training technicians to skilfully operate the advanced equipment. His clothes were soaked with sweat.
Thanks to his devoted service for the people's well-being, the Kwangchon Chicken Farm will be built as a model of the poultry farms across the country and the feed units under the farm will be more wonderfully built as a model of the rural culture.
